How to get to Palambak Island

Waaah... , pantai nya bagus sekali , Shant?? dimana itu? apa..!! pulau palambak?? dimana pulau palambak?? cara kesana nya gimana??

Pertanyaan2 ini yang selalu muncul setiap kali saya memasang foto Pulau palambak di profile picture BB saya , dan ini yang membuat saya memutuskan untuk memposting cara ke Pulau Palambak.

sebenarnya kalau kita search dari google juga kita akan menemukan informasi tentang pulau ini, tapi di sini saya akan berbagi info berdasarkan pengalaman kami kesana kemaren, semoga berguna.

Transportasi :

• Kami berangkat dari Medan , jadi kami naik taxi dari Medan ke Singkil , memakan waktu kurang lebih 8-9jam, dengan harga Rp.110rb per orang. Cari saja taxi2 atau L-300 dengan rute medan singkil. 
• Setibanya di Singkil, kami minta di turunkan di pelabuhan , dan dari pelabuhan cari boat ke pulau balai, memakan waktu 3 jam dari singkil ke pulau balai dengan harga Rp.25rb / orang.
• Dari Singkil kita ke Pulau Palambak, bisa tanya orang sekitar, kalau mau booking boat dan akomodasi ke pulau palambak dimana. Dari pulau Balai ke pulau Palambak memakan waktu setengah sampai satu jam, dan biaya nya Rp.75rb / orang.

Akomodasi :

• di Pulau Balai , kami menginap di Putri Guest House, kisaran biaya kamar adalah Rp.60rb - 150rb/ kamar, tergantung fasilitas nya,
• di Pulau Palambak, hanya ada lima bungalow, per bungalow nya kena Rp.80rb/ malam.

Lain nya :

• Kayak : Rp.150rb / hari (sewa nya di pulau balai dan bisa di bawa ke pulau palambak) 
• Snorkel  Rp.15rb / item (sewa nya juga dari pulau balai yah)

This questions always comes out once I put the picture of Palambak Island as my BB profile picture, and it makes me decide to post it in my blog about how to get there.

Me and my friends depart from Medan.

Transportation :

• We took taxi from Medan to Singkil and it costs us about Rp.110k / person . it tooks about 8-9hours from Medan to Singkil. It is easy to find taxi to Singkil. the taxi that we used is just like private car.
• Arrived at Singkil, ask the taxi to drop u to the port, and from the port you ask the boat that depart to Pulau Balai , it tooks 3 hours from Singkil to pulau Balai and costs about Rp.25k /pax.
• From Pulau Balai , you still need to take boat to Pulau Palambak, just half an hour but it costs about Rp.75k / person.

You can ask the local people at Singkil about the boat to Palambak Island .

Accomodation :

• Singkil - we stayed at Putri Guest House and the price is start from Rp.60k-150k.
• Palambak Island - there are only 5 bungalows available at there, Rp.80k for each bungalow. 

Others :

• Kayak : Rp.150k / day (we rent this from Balai island, and we can take it to Palambak Island, sure after u deal with the boss.
• Snorkel : Rp.15k / item / day

If you ever dream about having a tropical island entirely to yourself , complete with palm trees, powdery white sandy beaches and gin-clear waters... Here we are, a tropical island just for us.

Just imagine, you woke up in the morning, and greeted by the wave sounds, walk through the bungalow and there is an amazing blue sky , sparkling sea, and white sandy beach waiting for you to jump into the water.

Prepare your own meals with your friend, can be fried rice, pancake, noodles , anything that u want to make. Sure with limited ingredients :D , wash the dishes at the beach, scroll along the beaches, take pictures, play with the waves.

Having the meals at our own Dining room with the most amazing view ever.

Laying down at the balcony of the bungalow, chit chat with your friends, laughing, playing game.

Make the bonfire, grilled the potatoes, playing games, do the stupid things, just make me remember the game with "dung dung tak dung dung tak" I should record it actually, so u can see how fun it was.

No electricity, limited water supply (you should haul the water from the well to the bathroom) , limited signal, uninhabited.

Crabs hunting for our meals. The guys with their unlimited power to get the coconuts from the trees for our dessert.Hop on and Hop off from one island to another island, yes, Island hopping... all island are uninhabited.

It was just so amazing, even though the mosquitoes and bed bugs so annoying , but it still colored up our trip.

PS : Every time I put this island picture on my BB profile picture, there will be at least 4 people asking me where is it, and how to get there, so I just thinking to post how to get there . Check my next post dude !! :)
